Welcome to my very first fashion blog! This is where I’ll be sharing style tips, reviews, and personal experiences—all in the hopes of helping you refine your aesthetic or simply spark some inspiration.
If I had to describe my personal style in one word, it would be eclectic. Think Carrie Bradshaw’s femininity and bold experimentation, mixed with Miranda’s sharp modernity, Charlotte’s elegance and sophistication, and Samantha’s confidence and unapologetic glamour. Call me fashion-biased, but I’ve never been one to fit inside a box. After all, can anyone truly be just one thing? Fashion is an expression of self, a way to communicate who we are without saying a word.
Some days, I’m in oversized tomboy-chic pieces, exuding comfort and ease. Other days, I feel playful and throw on a cute top, flattering denim, and unique slingbacks. Then there are those rare (but necessary) solo dinner dates where I want to feel sexy and sophisticated—cue a sleek slip dress, strappy heels, and a clutch. My style is always about effortless intention—never overdone, but far from basic. Above all, my goal is to stay true to myself.
A Love Affair with Fashion
Fashion has always been a part of my life. Growing up in Seattle, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the latest Vogue, Essence, Ebony, or Black Hair magazine to soak in the latest designer trends and cultural influences. My environment leaned toward casual and comfortable, but my curiosity about personal style was always there.
Then came college in Atlanta, where I truly began to explore my femininity and the power of personal presentation. How I showed up in the world became just as important as my academic goals. That’s when I learned that style isn’t just about clothing—it’s about branding yourself, your confidence, and how you want to be perceived.
Fast forward to today, and fashion inspiration is everywhere. The days of waiting for magazine subscriptions or music video premieres are long gone. With the rise of social media, fashion is at our fingertips, evolving minute by minute, and offering fresh perspectives from all over the world.
My Next Chapter in Style
Now, at 36, as a mother to a 9-year-old son, a recent LA transplant, and a fashion designer & style consultant, I find myself in a new evolution. This phase of my life calls for a refined, confident, and effortless approach to dressing—the woman I’ve always envisioned myself becoming. For me, style is about maturity, simplicity, and confidence—and as I continue to grow, I know my style will transform with me. More than anything, I love helping others define their identity through fashion and embrace every facet of themselves. I can’t wait to take you on this journey with me!
